Its hard to imagine that McPherson's Numurkah has been around for almost one hundred years! Acquired as a gentlemans tailoring business in November, 1908, McPherson's Numurkah, in Melville Street Numurkah, will celebrate its 100th birthday later this year.

In the November 6th, 1908 edition of the Numurkah Leader newpaper, it was announced Mr. Alexander McPherson had purchased the business from Mr. Jos. Gent. Mr A. McPherson's son Colin took over the business in 1959. Alexander's grandson Duncan, then took over the family business in 1985. Still offering you the same personalised service that makes shopping in a local business more enjoyable.

One important feature is you can be measured and fitted for a suit, or suit hire during business hours or we can arrange an after hours appointment. Alterations can be made to the suits ( in store ) if needed. Along with our traditional menswear we have surfwear, Roxy, Quicksilver, Rusty & D.C. Shoes for the young at heart. A great range of fashion for women especially in accessories.

We supply school uniforms to 5 schools in the district, making the business quite diverse. We have an amazing embroidery machine in the back shop, along with our stock of workwear. We can supply garments for corporate and sporting groups as well as embroidering your logo. Personalizing a gift is popular for Birthdays, Weddings, Newborns and Christmas. The ideas are endless.
